Super friendly staff Clean , attractive room Great shower ,towels, linen Convenient location
I can’t rave about this property enough. From the design, to the rooftop, to the friendly staff, to the delicious inclusive breakfasts…I will book a stay here every time I’m in Medellín.
All A only 4* would be room size but still very nice
Amazing boutique experience!!
Great property
Centrally located. Rooms not that big
Great hotel! Near Provenza
Fue una experiencia increíble, el hotel tiene una muy buena ubicación. Todo el personal fue súper amable. No tengo quejas durante mi estadía. Lo recomiendo.
Great location , wonderful staff.
The entire staff was wonderful and I would stay here again. Very convenient walkable location and super quiet .. just contstruction next door but wasn’t a problem at all. We loved our stay here. Wonderful experience!!
The service was amazing !
The kind people and the service was great
Perfect
Best service, hands down. Keep it up with the good work!
super nice people. clean room and super rooftop
Excellent hotel. It needs a pool and a gym
The hotel is fine, very close to the best places in Provenza. However, there is construction work that wakes you up in the mornings from Monday to Friday. The restaurant service is very slow, and they didn't always change my bath towels. The jacuzzi doesn't have bartender service all the time. The hotel is okay, but there are many areas for improvement.
personal service
wonderful personal service
Beautiful hotel in a very nice and fun area
good
Hip, modern vibe, friendly staff.
Our stay was not great. Although the hotel staff is very nice, the room we stayed in did not have hot water. We told the reception and they said they would fix it, but nothing changed. The mini fridge also did not work. They changed our room but the second room also did not have a working fridge. When we checked out they said they would refund me half of one night, but after following up for three months straight I can tell they are just giving me a run around claiming “Accounting will process the payment during the next cycle”. Room amenities like hot water and a working fridge are basic when staying at a hotel of this caliber, and the blatant lie about getting a refund is very poor customer service.
Staff was very friendly and the hotel was gorgeous.
The facilities and the room were very good. There was a construction side of the hotel. There was not much privacy and we could not open the curtains to see the city view. A lot of noise from the construction.
Great stay. The staff is very attentive, service is excellent
fab
Wonderful staff and beautiful hotel!
Beautiful hotel with a awesome professional and helpful staff
We had an amazing experience at this Hotel, the staff was extremely accommodating and welcoming. The hotel is gorgeous with beautiful high tech rooms. Only complain I have was that our view from our room was construction and around 8am it was a little loud with the construction. But overall we had an incredible experience, I would definitely stay again!!!
Great staff
Excellent location and very good breakfast- would book this hotel again!
Small closet and the vanity is separate from the shower, which it was a bit uncomfortable but otherwise I really recommend it. Great staff and delicious breakfast.
Great staff and great location.
Lovely!
bad sevice
great service
Room smelled like humidity bathroom not very clean I was charged for laundry bag rooms very small
Awesome hotel!!
The best hotel i stayed at in medellin!!! Unbelievable
Very nice architecture, the service needs improvement.
Stay away!
The hotel is building an addition. You will be woken up EVERYDAY at 6am with drilling and large equipment right outside your window. Second, do not trust the “manager” when he says he will give a great rate to change rooms. I took him at his word, and he charged me an even higher rate at check out. I showed him the lower hotels.com and he just shrugs. Classless. I gave them every opportunity to fix the situation, just keep saying he’s sorry. To add insult to injury, the hotel charged me for a laundry bag and refused to let me leave until I paid for it. Literarily told the Uber driver not to let me leave. Avoid hotel23 at all costs!
Very well located. Unfortunately staff and service not great.
Unique boutique hotel close to the Provencia neighborhood. Hotel seems like it recently opened with major technology issues in the guest rooms. They utilize a home automation system that needs improvement. We ordered towels and room service through the application that were never delivered. Front office team mentioned that they were trying to improve. The system is simply annoying that at times will not allow you to even turn on the lights. I think that they should provide a standard light switch and the home automation application in all rooms.
This is a must-stay hotel
This hotel is amazing in every single way. From the staff, the rooms, the overall design and the food and drink. Not a single complaint or concern we loved staying here and are so grateful to the beautiful staff who made it so enjoyable. Absolutely recommend and we will be back!
This hotel is beautiful and the hospitality is superb.
Amazing hotel - beautifully maintained and the rooms are incredible. This is my go-to place to stay everytime I am in Medellin!
My husband and I stayed here over the summer. It's beautiful hotel with a very unique design. We loved the plants and the design of the building. There is a roof top jacuzzi and the breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed the Colombian fruit, fresh yogurt, and homemade granola. We would definitely stay here again.
El hotel es lindo tiene una terraza para disfrutar el clima y tragos; la comida es muy buena y el staff es muy amable Nuestra habitación era muy pequeña pero pudimos manejarlo Es fácil caminar a bares y algunos restaurantes del hotel
Great hotel! Within walking distance to many restaurants and lounges, but far enough to avoid the late-night noise. The hotel is very clean, superbly decorated and smells amazing. The pool/hot tub is small and can get kind of crowded, but it is still a vibe especially on Sunday when they have a DJ who was amazing! I defiantly would stay there again.
This hotel was just as pictured but it felt much more luxurious in person. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The food was delicious as well. I am planning another trip to Medellin just so I can have more time enjoying the hotel.
The room was waaaayyy tooo small and the noise of the construction was terrible.
The pictures do this hotel no justice. The staff was so friendly and I did not eat a bad meal here my entire visit! Definitely recommend for a couples stay.
Amazing and clean living space, as well as helpful staff.
The staff was so nice! the place very aesthetically pleasing.
23Hotel Medellin was excelente! My husband and I took a quick trip for our 10th wedding anniversary. I would definitely stay here again. I absolutely loved the decor and atmosphere. The vibe was amazing! The staff was very friendly. The location was very convenient! The hotel was able to coordinate my transportation from the airport. They made me feel very comfortable, as I was initially nervous! I have no complaints at all!
Great aesthetic and friendly staff
We stayed here five days and loved every moment. Walking distance less than 5min to the strip where all the restaurants clubs etc were. Super clean everyone was extremely nice. We wound up upgrading to the room with the circle window and tub and it was worth every penny. Had an amazing free breakfast and we also tried their dinner and it was also really really good. If you are looking for aesthetics and clean nice environment this is a must stay compared to other places in area that are also really nice. Guatape and Cumo13 is a must. Guatape we took a taxi for $80 but recommend during the tour to get more history. The Cumo 13 we took a tour. Medellin is definitely a walking environment so plan accordingly at night heels are good ladies but don’t recommend during the day. We also went to a brunch party at The Charlie hotel which was pretty cool. This place is literally close to everything and if they drop you off at the park after the tour it’s like a 8min walk back to the hotel. Roof top at this place is also amazing. No pool but has a jacuzzi all the pools at all the hotels aren’t very large so your not missing anything by choosing this place with just a jacuzzi. We are definitely coming back and would deff stay here again!
Beautiful but not the most comfortable
Pros: beautiful bar/restaurant/common areas, amazing location near awesome night life, staff was very friendly and accommodating, included breakfast is delicious and very filling Cons: we booked a queen room and it was TINY, there was nowhere to put our bags so we had to climb over them every time we wanted to go to the bathroom or leave. The shower was in the bedroom with glass doors so with nowhere else to go we had to watch each other shower or leave the room entirely. The cleaning staff kept leaving us the wrong size towels (small, like large bath mats) so every day we had to ask them to bring us regular bath towels, and there was also nowhere to hang the towels so we had to just keep leaving them in piles on the floor. There was also construction happening right next door and drilling started promptly at 8am every morning. Finally, the check out staff tried to charge us for snacks we bought outside the hotel because they saw our wrappers in the garbage, even though they weren’t even the brands the hotel offered, which felt a little cheap and sleazy after otherwise excellent service from the staff. Overall, if we were going to stay here again, we’d confirm before booking whether construction was taking place nearby, we’d book the most expensive rooms because anything cheaper isn’t comfortable, and we’d take pictures of everything upon arrival and upon leaving to avoid trying to prove we didn’t take any snacks or drinks.
The hotel charged me twice for one night. The receptionist at the hotel offered to make a delivery for me and it appears that he never did. I’ve tried contacting the hotel for two days and I haven’t gotten a response back.
AMAZING!
The hotel was clean, staff was friendly. rooms are a bit small but for what we need it was ok. Will stay there again if I go back.
Excellent
I really wanted to love this hotel but there were several issues that kept me from giving it a good review. I will start with the good things: hotel is away from all the craziness of El Poblado (think Parque Lleras area) but still within walking distance to great restaurants/bars, some of the staff is really nice, free breakfast was good, bed was comfortable and shower was decent even though it’s not actually connected to the bathroom. Now, on to the bad things: construction drilling/Jack hammers at 7:00am, the constant sound of loud running water at 5:30am (not sure if it’s other guests or the cleaning people), room is small, no iron in the room (you have to ask for it), you have to turn on the TV, adjust the A/C, and call the front desk with some cellphone on a nightstand. Good luck figuring that out on your own because there wasn’t a small welcome sheet like at most hotels, telling you that the phone controls everything. I had to call the front desk and the guy came up to show me how to use it all, he even informed me that you have to stand 3-4 inches front of the TV in order to use the remote. Nice! You also have to place your card key into a power slot on the wall by the door, to turn on the power in the room. Strict visitor policy too. When I return to Medellin, I probably wouldn’t stay here again.
September 25-30
It was an awesome experience. We travel for our honey moon and we had an amazing time in the city and staying in the 23 hotel. The service and facilities are excellent. They have a roof top with a beautiful view and the restaurant on the lobby is exquisite. Will definitely stay again.
Excellent staff and nice rooms
Comfortable little gem in Provenza
Good: The hotel is in a great location and yet is far enough away from the bars so it is still quiet. The staff was very friendly and for the most part we enjoyed our 2 week stay. Bad: The rooms are VERY small and probably was not the best choice for a 2 week stay. The included breakfast was OK but the quality varied from day to day. Just a note, if you want more than 1 cup of coffee they will charge you (a high price by Colombia standards). The seem to try and nickle and dime you at every turn, and honestly there are better breakfast options nearby. Overall I would give it 3 of 5 stars. This was a good location for my first trip to Medellin, but for future trips I will look elsewhere.
This is a very new, state of the art hotel filled with tropical plants. Great staff & excellent restaurant! The.curtains, tv & lights operate from your rooms smart phone! We would definitely stay here again!
Muy buena ubicacion no estas en el desorden pero estas a 3 minutos de el. el staff muy atentos y amables, la habitacion super pequeña
Amazinggg!!!! The place is gorgeous, the food is amazing and everyone is so nice and friendly
The only thing missing was a gym other than that it was excellent location, staff. The building is beautiful very chic, we would definitely stay again.
The architecture in the hotel was excellent and the room was very technologically advanced. It came with a phone to control the lights and curtains, as well as, to request cleaning and maintenance. The view was amazing and the bathtub was big enough to fit two people. All the staff was very professional and polite. However, some incidents took away from the experience such as the breakfast. The scrambled eggs came back runny and we politely expressed that we would like them to be cooked longer. We made this request 4 times because the chef put them in the pan for 30 seconds each time and brought it back uncooked. He even came over to argue that the eggs were indeed cooked and this is the way they should be eaten. He refused to accommodate us, simply because our request did not align with what he is accustomed to making, which was very unfair and insulting. The waiter, on the other hand, was very polite and offered me a serving of waffles instead. The day after, we didn't have breakfast and requested two tea bags since none were in our room. We were charged $6 USD for the two tea bags, which should have been complimentary since we didn't eat breakfast and we also paid over a million Colombian pesos per night for our room. The pool was also a turnoff because people were in their eating, washing their dirty hands in the water, and had their dog hair shedding in the water. If these things are addressed in the future, maybe we will consider staying here again.
Amazing boutique hotel
The property was stunning! My only complaint was that the rooms were a tad small, but it's a small price to pay to stay in such a beautiful space.
WOW, this hotel is easily the prettiest place I've ever stayed. From the gorgeous plants and unique exterior to the relaxing, beautifully designed interior, I wish I could style my house just like 23Hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant downstairs and the rooftop bar are beyond anything I'd expect in a hotel — truly delicious with stunning views. It's very walkable too, and in a safe, very happening (and beautiful) part of Medellin. Also, each room is equipped with a device for you to use to more easily request anything and everything — food, taxis, questions, etc. SO cool and useful! The only slightly strange thing was our room layout — the glass shower was right across from the bed, and the (separate) bathroom door didn't shut completely. So I maybe wouldn't recommend sharing a room with a friend/new partner unless you're comfortable with these details ;) but it was fine for me and my husband.
This place is amazing. First of all it may be one of the most unique looking buildings in all of Medellin! The staff was very friendly and very patient with my bad attempts to speak Spanish. The roof top is amazing. It is close enough to walk to bars, restaurants, and small grocery stores. When I come back to Medellin this will be the only place I consider staying. I would recommend it to my friends.
I love the aesthetics of the place and the staff was so lovely and accommodating
