CFAR does not cover involuntary cancellations, which would be covered in many cases by the airline, passenger insurance, or both. CFAR also does not include anything that falls under force majeure or the concept of an act of God, i.e. an event for which no party can be held accountable, such as natural disasters or pandemics.
