Excellent location to see Buenos Aires. Room clean and adequate. Meeting room adequate and convenient. Front desk staff helpful. Breakfast buffet unfortunately mediocre especially in comparison to other accommodations on our trip. Offerings were plentiful but not tasty.

Tired. Elevators quirky. Hard to get coffee in the room. No drawers in ‘suite’ so we had suitcases on the floor. Very slow to get room made up. Good location though and a sufficient breakfast.

Breakfast was very poor. Tinned fruit, bacon limp like a dish cloth, processed cheese and ham.

The front desk staff at 725 Continental were exceptional, friendly, and helpful during my 13 day stay at this hotel. I look forward to staying at this hotel in the near future.

The hotel was perfectly located to walked around San Talmo. It was very clean and well done. The roof top pool and bar were very nice.

This hotel is very conveniently located and is within walking distance of all the main attractions in central BA, a lot of restaurants and shopping near by, excellent breakfast and super helpful staff!

Excellent stay

Staff at front desk are helpful, courteous and speak good English. The room and bedding are very comfortable with a relatively quiet AC unit. The hotel is very well located within walking distances to main attractions. There is a small grocery store next door and a number of restaurants nearby. The starting route of the Hop on Hop off red bus starts right in front of the hotel.

Location, location, location perfect. Clients should check bills for unauthorized charges. Suspect inside job. Easily resolved, but worrisome in dining area. I discussed this issue with desk staff, not sure if they will take appropriate action.

Really good customer service via WhatsApp. Poor customer service at the front desk. WhatsApp agent helped us get airport transfer, room help, information about the hotel. Front desk reserved another airport transfer that didn’t show up. Front desk gave us bar vouchers that did not work. Front desk claimed to give us a room upgrade but it wasn’t one. (Same room type except noisy close to the elevator). Not sure what the issue is. I am a native Spanish speaker so it isn’t a language thing. I’d recommend the hotel but relying on with WhatsApp for actual service. Great location and comfortable hotel otherwise!

Not worth it.

Very good breakfast. Although the entrance shows 5 stars, this hotel is definitely not. The sheets and towels are extremely old. The rooms are very noisy: you can hear all the neighbors, both upstairs and next you, including the noise from the corridor.

No hot water kettle was provided and it was not possible to make tea or coffee in the room. Towels were old.

The hotels front desk was very nice. Helped with recommending spots and calling for taxis. The breakfast was the best I’ve had so far. Amazing bacon and eggs

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the Obelisco and surrounded by so many other attractions. The staff was exceptional, always willing to assist and incredibly knowledgeable about local points of interest. They even shared fascinating bits of history about the area, which added so much to the experience. Whether it was helping with directions or suggesting the best spots to visit, they consistently pointed me in the right direction. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to explore the city!

Nice hotel centrally located to attractions.

Nice hotel and staff

Location is really good. Check in/out was smooth. The breakfast was very pastry heavy and the non-pastry food was not good. The beds were the equivalent of sleeping on a bench. The soap is wrapped by the hotel and ours had a hair wrapped in it.

Ideal location for a few stay to sightsee, walkable to many historic sites.

Room was clean. Looked dated though. Bed was ok but felt old. Bathroom did not work properly. Staff was great and location is excellent. Breakfast was also excellent.

This property doesn't go too far to impress their guests. As we were leaving the breakfast room, the gentleman ahead of us was stopped from taking his coffee cup to his room. Instead he was asked to pour it into a styrofoam cup before leaving. My family and I got back from a long day and had purchased take away for our kids. With the limited seating in the lobby we went to the bar area to order a glass of wine while our kids ate. We were asked to remain in the lobby. When we purchased two glasses of wine to take to our room we were given two plastic cups with room temperature wine. :( Lastly, I would recommend fixing the elevator system. To get to the pool/gym on the 9th floor you have to wait for the third elevator to come available as it's the only one that goes up there. It can take 5-10 minutes to get the right elevator. Overall, a few changes could really turn the customer experience around.

The location is great but the hotel condition is not great. Our room walls was dirty and it needs repair! At the roof top the server serving drinks was not friendly!

Really liked this hotel so we used it twice in our trip. Great location in the city right opposite the red bus tour office! Fabulous breakfasts Nice pool area.

Elevators small and slow. Poor conservation of water in bathroom fixtures. Otherwise an excellent location, excellent amenities, excellent staff, excellent breakfast. Excellent Expedia value price. Highly recommended

LINDO HOTEL CERCA DEL OBELISCO

Location is good. Close to eateries and public transports. The internal conditions are a bit old but all facilities are still functional and in good working order. A bit odd as they don't provide any kettle, coffee and tea bags and slippers.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. And the location was convenient, easy to walk to many locations.

Nice centric hotel however there is no coffee in the room or if wanted water it was for sale

If you room is close to the elevator, it is very noise all the time the elevator stop in the respective floor.

Outdated and tired

Pretty outdated and tired hotel. Bathrooms were old and busted but at least shower pressure was good. Rooms are super stuffy and bare minimum.

It was an ok hotel. Only thing great was location. Staff was not very friendly and our room had only 1 towel for 3 people and tissue paper was never filled.

2 nights in BA

Helpful staff, especially when arranging pick up. Good breakfast buffet, usual selection, cereals, pastries, juiuce. Attached resturant fair menu if you don't want to go out and search. Good location to explore city on foot.

I had the opportunity to enjoy a really nice room for a few hours before flying back to USA. What a nice property.💯

Ok but not great

Service at the bar Sunday night was very poor. Brought us Spanish menus even though they new we were Americans as we already had ordered beers. Air conditioning is almost non-existent. Took 2 days to cool from 24 to 22. Food was good and staff were efficient but not overly helpful

Excellent location for sightseeing. Large comfortable bed, dark room & clean bathroom. I was on the top (8th floor) and heard the disco as if it was in my room until 11pm. After 11pm, the volume significantly reduced.

Excellent hotel in a central location. Helpful staff, very good breakfast. Good currency exchange at the hotel front desk who also arranged airport transfers for us, which were seamless.

This hotel was not clean. Tables in the restaurant were dirty, food was inedible, the smell throughout the hotel was sickening and there were fleas flying around and biting. Left a day early even tho the room was paid for, staff was apathetic.

Good location, friendly staff. Very small pool and small fitness centre but at least they had one! The breakfast was excellent! Rooms fine - no shower gel but they had shampoo and conditioner.

My room’s a/c wasn’t working and leaking water through the ceiling. Was downgraded to a worse room. Reception staff weren’t interested .

Rooftop bar and pool, Barman Daniel was so helpful. Early check in at 11 am after a long flight. Good rates at the hotel for changing dollars.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful time. We received a free upgrade on our room type along with some complimentary gifts as Expedia members. The staff were wonderful and very responsive to anything we needed. The location was perfect, right in the center of the city and walking distance from many attractions as well as bars and restaurants. We'd definitely stay here again!

Buenos Aires, buenos dias y muchas gracias!

Great central location for visiting all the sights of BA! We walked everywhere and also did lots of Subte rides(metro) which is safe,cheap and efficient. Casa Rosada and Cabildo are 5mins away and easy to walk to San Telmo for the antiques market, and to Puerto Madero for bars and visits. In the winter/spring the terrace and pool are closed which is a shame but it’s a great terrace up ther in summer I’m sure. Because of the British Airways strike we were forced to book an extra two nights so we spent a total of seven nights at the 725 and it felt like home. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Be sure to book the guided tour of Teatro Colon, and the day trip to Tigre by boat and bus...great excursions. We also did the El Aljibe Tango which was less touristy than others but there’s lots of bars and outdoor spaces where you can appreciate spontaneousTango for free! Buenos Aires is certainly the Paris of South America, with lots of culture but much friendlier and more welcoming than Paris. Would love to go back, and also visit Mendoza and Patagonia next time.

Very good value in a central location for BA

An excellent hotel and good room amenities in a very central location for downtown BA. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast (included) was generous and varied. Our room had a recently- renovated bathroom of excellent quality and the bed was very comfortable. It was easy to access most areas of interest on either side of July 7th boulevard, a short walk to the docklands and a short Cabify ride to Palermo.

All ok in general check in and out perfect, clean.

The hotel was probably nice 50 years ago. It has not been well maintained. Staff was nice but property was not. There were stains on the sheets and hair under the pillow.

The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The part which we were not happy with was that the pool was not in operation and there is no indication when booking that the pool is only open for summer.

Great reception staff.

We loved the 725 Continental. The reception desk staff were really helpful, really going out of their way to look things up for us and make recommendations. The rooftop pool was great and the location is really central. The only negative point was the breakfast. The orange juice was sweetened squash, the scrambled eggs were cold two mornings running with only one burner lit of two underneath and the pastries were chewy and stale. However, this was on a Sunday so perhaps they couldn’t get a delivery.

I’ve stayed here twice on visits to Buenos Aires. It’s a great location with nice rooms and staff.
